Hi, I am Florian. Two job passions are united in my heart, Project Management and Software Engineering. When I started out in the IT world, all paths were open to me, I did a lot of software development in enterprisy environments, and started to incorporate more and more management activities as time moved on. I did all the stuff from Rational Unified to Agile to SAFe to whatever. Did Project and Program Management, had Team Lead and Product Responsibility… At the moment the other side is taking over in me, saying hey, have some fun being a professional Software Engineer for a period, again.
I was bored out of my mind from writing code when I left for greener management pastures. Spending some free time over the last years, I saw and experienced the engineering world change, and I want to enjoy the elements of this in a daily professional job. So here I am, blogging about looking back into core technologies.
Failure could be an option… then I guess I’ll apply for a Scrum Master or do a few projects again. For the time being – back to engineering.
